Fundamentals: The Intro to CrossFit
CrossFit Nyack Fundamentals is an introductory program that acquaints you with the foundational primary movements employed in our group classes. Our Fundamentals model also provides you with the technique and skill necessary for proper execution of such movements, minimizing the risk of injury and maximizing your results. All new athletes are required to successfully complete this program before entering group classes.
Our Fundamentals package includes the following:
1 month access to CrossFit Endurance classes
1 month access to our Group classes (non CrossFit)
2 weeks complimentary unlimited regular CrossFit class membership immediately following the completion of Fundamentals
General gym membership
During Fundamentals, we will assess your athletic/physical conditioning and introduce you to the following:
- Mobility, dynamic stretching and warm up
- The foundational movements of CrossFit and strength training (i.e., squats, dead lifts, Olympic lifts)
- Mono-structural movements (i.e., rowing, running, jumping)
- Form and execution for standard movements (i.e., pushup, pull up, etc.)
