On-Ramp
The CrossFit Nyack On Ramp is a 5 session program that will provide you with the technique and skill necessary for keeping you safe and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes. As an athlete, you are required to complete this program before you are allowed to enter group classes. During the On Ramp we will assess your physical condition as an athlete, and teach you the following:
- Dynamic stretching and warm up
- The foundational movements of CrossFit and strength training (squatting with weight, dead lifting, Olympic lifts)
- Mono-structural movements (rowing, running, jumping)
- Form and execution for standard movements (pushup, pull up, etc.)
On-Ramp is currently available by appointment. After you sign up, you will speak with one of our trainers about when you are available to begin. We prefer that you commit to two sessions a week so that we can move you through the on ramp and get you into group classes. If you or the trainer feel that their is a desire or need for further instruction/preparation before you join group classes, you can sign up for one on one sessions at a rate of 50.00/ half hour or 85.00/ hour. If you stay focused and utilize your On-Ramp time wisely, you should have no trouble completing your foundation in the standard 5 sessions.
The price of the On-Ramp course is 200.00
